I was watching a show by Criss Angel, "Criss Angel Mindfreak", who is a magician and illusionist. He performs some mind-blowing magic that is surely the work of the spirits of devils (Revelations 16:14). He attracts a large audience wherever he goes and people “oooo” and “aaaah”, squeal or squirm at his performances. This reminds me of how the false prophet will perform miracles (Revelations 19:20) in the tribulation in support of the Antichrist (the Beast). Those who receive the mark of the beast and who worship his image are drawn by these miracles and deceived into believing that the Antichrist is the Messiah. If people reject the covenant of Jesus Christ, they will be given a lie to believe in the tribulation period and judged with wrath for embracing that lie. Those who embrace the covenant will escape the tribulation through the rapture. God is calling all unto repentance to be His righteous sons and join in in building His House.
