I was watching the doctors because I was bored and nothing else was on. This lady wore contacts that started bugging her and she ran out of solution so she STORED them for a week in WATER. This has now caused her to lose her vision because an amoeba was in the water she stored it in and the doctors did not know this was the cause at 1st so they gave her steroids which lowered her ability to fight off the amoeba and made it stronger. NEVER rinse your contacts in water...do not shower or swim in a lake or pool with contacts in. I am guilty of those. This is some scary shit. And I can tell you over wearing my contacts (day/night/overnight contacts at that) almost made me blind myself. And because I did the colored part of my eye broke up not only changing the color of my eye but making it extremely sensitive to light. (And pissing everyone off that I work with because I have to lower my computer screens to 0 light)BE CAREFUL!!!!
