I was watching tv now I dont know if all schools do it but i know yough does the story was about the paper that gets sent home about the body mass index. I saw this beautiful 13 year old girl talking about basically the school telling her shes overweight. I dont think that should be up to the school to decide. We all take our kids to doctors and they dont even do it right they take your height and weight and do an average. My sons have received these papers for years. My youngest son is 5ft 5 and 140 pounds he is on the high school football team, works out 3 hours a day and has a 6 pack. We received the paper saying hes at risk for obesity. I hate to tell them muscle weighs more then fat. Its a joke to him but how much trauma are they doing to these kids? I think schools should stay out of it.
