I was wondering, how many of you have been blocked/banned from a police departments Facebook page? Personally, Ive been blocked from commenting on both Michigan Citys and the LaPorte County Sheriffs Facebook pages. I was blocked from MCs for being critical of their policies and actions, and I was blocked from the LaPorte County Sheriffs page for asking what a level 5 felony is (yes, I swear, thats all I asked). I think its kind of a violation of citizens rights to do this. I can understand internet abuse and such, but for petty reasons, to block someone from a page that (in a roundabout way) their tax dollars are spent to maintain is, in effect, a stifling of free speech. Discuss...
