I was wondering when the last time you had on a tux or a suit thats not a rental. I must admit that I havent bought one in years. Ive had no reason to. We live in a society where everyone looks like the mannequin @ your favorite urban boutique(jbees, dtlr, dress 2 jobs impress, etc). I would like to put together a black tie event where I can purchase a tailor made suit and my date can have an evening grown that shows off her curves while the paparazzi takes pictures. I googled black couples at a black tie event & these are all the black people that came up. Im asking my friends can we change that? I just wanna do something different. If I put this together would you come? Dress code would be strictly enforced. No true religious (some of yall ish be fake) , robin jeans, or Jordans will be allowed. Maybe next year which gives you time to prepare. Some of yall walk around with an outfit that costs 2 mortgage payments so I know you shouldnt have a problem switching it up for 1 night. Please respond I want to know your thoughts.
