I wasnt all that hungry so tonight I made a grilled cheese sandwich, but not just your everyday run of the mill grilled cheese sandwich... I used three slices of bread, the middle one I cut the centre out and fried an egg in the hole until it was hard using olive oil. The last few seconds of this part of the cook, I place cheddar cheese on the top of the egg filled toasted bread. Then I placed the cooked piece onto an uncooked slice of bread that would form an outside so the cheese was inside the sandwich, then I put a some cheddar cheese on the top side of the slice with the egg. Then I placed the third piece of bread on the top where the cheese hadnt been exposed to heat. I covered the outside of the now three layer sandwich with olive oil and returned to the frying pan and browned each side. I cut it into three, then added salsa to the top. It was better than Id expected. I never cook anything in a conventional manner...
