I wasnt born to her, but she is my mother as much as if i had been. We are very different women. Maybe the nature vs . nurture thing. But we learned from each other. I taught her about independence. She taught be what it meant to be dependent. ..And content. I taught her to never settle and live life large She taught me that it was perfect to lie in the bed you made. I taught her how great life as a busy entrpreneur is. She taught me the life altering benefits of never working anywhere but the home you love. I taught her that you could learn to love your ipad, android phone and GPS. She taught me how great it is to not know how to set the time on your microwave. Shes the most gentle, loving, solid as a rock creature on earth. She stood by 7 of her nine siblings as they lost their lives. And now she is fighting for hers. She taught me to believe that there is something higher in power than us. And we should be grateful. For anyone who knows her, or me, or our family, Im asking for your thoughts, prayers, toasts and mostly your love as she goes for a 5.5 hour surgery today. Thank you.
