I wasnt going to address this but its been bugging me for a few days now. Everyone that knows me knows what my contributions to ULTRA Music Festival has been through the past 15 years. I helped grow ULTRA from a small beach party to a World Class event through managing and designing the production and zeroing in on being the Audio Specialist the past 5 years. ULTRA is apart of me as I am a part of ULTRA. So it pains me to see what it going on with the event this year and last year. My message is to the top brass of ULTRA Music Festival. I know you dont want to move the event from Bayfront Park but guys its time to find a bigger venue. The fans of ULTRA Music Festival deserve a bigger venue. A venue where you can do 60k - 75k people per day and still have room to walk, enjoy non music elements and enjoy themselves without worrying about being trapped like sardines. You know what the evolution of the event has been. You know how many more people the event is going to attract. You know ULTRA can be even better than what it is now. This cant happen if you stay at Bayfront Park. Its time to face the facts. The whole ULTRA team has done a TREMENDOUS job taking ULTRA to the highest heights. But ULTRA Miami can go even higher, but not until you guys make the decision to move to a larger facility. You know Im not writing this to bash you or the event. You know that I am telling the truth here because you know how I feel about ULTRA Music Festival. I hope this message gets across to you because Id hate to see an event where a lot of great people over the years, have put a lot of blood, sweat and energy into creating. Do it for the fans of the show. Do it for the NEW FANS of the show. Start thinking about the next generation of ULTRA fans. TMac aka Dr. Bassenstein
