I wasnt going to admit to this - BUT, I think it is something many others may overlook. I check everything - or so I thought. We were close to home returning from our last trip to the Northern Territory earlier this year when I felt something wasnt right when travelling in traffic in the towns - there was unusual movement. Upon arriving at the CP at Cania Gorge I went looking and to my horror I found the tow ball had worked loose. It took two to three turns to tighten it up properly and then everything was all good. When we arrived home I replaced the tow ball with a new one because there was wear in the thread of the old one from the movement. SO - regularly check your tow ball and your tow bar bolts folks.
