I wasnt going to answer this question, but after several readers asked the same question, I decided to answer it just this once. The question was....Why do we have to wait so long between books? To answer your question... I dont write full time, but I wish I did. I have a full time job that requires A LOT of my time. I write the books in my spare time. The editing takes months not weeks. Even if I finished a book in five to six months, I would still have to wait on the editor to do his job. Even after that, theres going back and forth with things I may not be happy with. The editing is the most important part of the book. Even now, I still find typos my editor missed. You see, he has his job cut out with me. I have dyslexia, real bad. My hand wants to type Ill kill you, but my brain makes me type, You Ill kill. So you can imagine how crazy I drive him. Take this post, Ive gone over it many times to make sure it makes sense. I hope my answer helps you understand.
