I wasnt going to chime in but.... ive been asked my thoughts. CRAMPING CHRONICLES Ok, all of us that hooped, have faced this situation one time or another. Their are different types of cramps. You get the calf cramp that hurts and wares off in minutes, you have the consistent aggravating cramp that happens often but for a quick second, then you have that lock up cramp that sits you down and feels like a tear. Lets say he experienced the latter. Now that lock up cramp is a *****!!!! Thats a fact. So usually when this occurs, you limp to the sideline and the trainer gives you water, bananas, salt tablets and whatever else to take internally. Then they proceed to massage and rub it out. This usually works and give you like a good two minutes depending on how much pain you can take. It burns!!!!! But... you try to return. Key word is try. THE GUY DID NOT GET UP! He did not try and test it out. He did not look at time and score and say, I might can play this last 3 minutes. He did not think that this is where legends are made. Legacys are polished in these moments. Instead, he bowed out. Lets rewind before the cramp. He looked like he cramped up earlier in the 4th and made a tough bucket to the basket and hobbled back on defense. But this time, he was just called for a travel, missed a layup putback after not getting a call before that and then missed a layup when the final cramp came. Its mental with this guy and always has been. He does not face adversity well. So I will say this. The NBA can save your mind nor your heart, when the kitchen gets hot, Top Chefs no how to speed cook. They can raise the temp and get the meal out quickly. The ones that cant take the Heat get out the kitchen. Please dont compare him with the greats. You can compare his numbers thanks to the rules of todays games. But this guy is a pre-Madonna clown!
