I wasnt going to elaborate because most Americans seeing it are truly wowed by the movie Lone Survivor. Ive been fortunate enough to have met Marcus and been around him on a couple of occasions here in Texas at Navy SEAL Foundation fundraisers and the opening of his Patriot Tour. Having already read the book and getting to listen to him tell the story live and in person, I had a good idea the movie would rock. Everything he does is to keep burning the memory of his fallen teammates......first and foremost. Yes Im biased, but Marcus Lutrell is true American warrior and patriot. No matter how you feel about politics, war or our armed forces, I urge you to go see it to see what true camaraderie is truly all about and the truth of the enemy we face and their twisted ideology that we are fighting. Thank God for people like Danny Dietz, Mike Murphy, Matt Axelson and yes Marcus Luttrell. May all of our fighting men and women do their job to the best of their ability and make it home to tell the tale, and if they do not, honor them as Marcus has done in his book and movie. Go see the movie...........
