I wasnt going to mention this but I feel the need: I believe the Statesboro Walmart has THE rudest cashiers on the planet. Many of them dont smile, say thank you, kiss my azz, or anything else--ever. Tonight just before finishing my shopping my sugar dropped. Uh oh! As I dug through my purse for glucose tabs and made my way to the check out I was drenched in sweat and obviously shaking as I informed the cashier I was having a hypoglycemic episode. I was so afraid I was going to pass out. She did not once asked me if I needed any help or if I was okay. She appeared very annoyed at having to SLING my bags in the buggy as I leaned on the counter chewing frantically on my glucose tabs. She actually WAITED to see if I was going to put my grocery bags in the buggy...Oh, how I wish I could have. She didnt smile, ask me if I needed help to my vehicle or ANYTHING...she never even smiled at me. I had to leave my buggy outside the bathroom (hoping no one stole any of my stuff) and splash water on my face and sit down for about 20 minutes. I am saddened more and more every day when I see how folks treat one another. If I had been the cashier I would have called a manager and gotten help. She NEVER inquired as to my well-being and it was obvious she could have cared less. And people wonder why I cringe at the thought of leaving my safe and loving home........SMH.
