I wasnt sure I wanted to share these pics but I will, just because I want people to know what Nash endured. I also want to show our friends that have pffd kids, what to expect (kind of). The pins go from the fixator to the bone. The scars are not just holes, they are lines from where the pin moved its way down the leg as it was getting longer. The picture of his leg without the fixator was the day after it was removed....the holes were already closed! They are actually healing very well. The brace loked big and scary at first but I actually love it because it allows Nash to walk! Hes very slow and careful but at least he can walk :) only 3 more weeks to go!
