I wasnt sure if I wanted to share this here but after some thought and reflection, I have decided to share. I got into an accident yesterday. My car instead of braking, accelerated and went over a drain. There was a loud crash. The bumper was affected and my car was stuck over a drain. Thankfully no one was hurt and no other cars were hit. When I needed my car to be pulled out, angel helpers came. People I know, Muhamad Yunus Yahaya and his friend Mursyid were so selfless in giving their all. Neighbours around came out to chip in support and help. Some drivers passing by stopped to help pull the car out. I have always wanted to train myself to see through grateful eyes, and yesterday, I saw all these good people around me. I am ever grateful to my Creator. Another learning I got yesterday was, what if it was a worse accident ? Anything can happen in life. Again I was grateful that I started the day well yesterday before I left home. I kissed my daughter and said good motivating words to her before she left for school. I kissed my husband. I paid as many bills as I could. I fed my cats. I prayed before leaving the house. (I dont necessarily do all these everyday before leaving the house). What a great reminder. Thank you for the support from friends who were there too when this happened. Nothing material lasts. Focus on your deeds and the legacy you leave behind. Bismillah...I am leaving for my meetings again today...this time, I will check the tires...
