I watched Total Recall again last night. Its a very violent film with heaps of men getting shot to pieces, impaled and getting their arms ripped off. But I was shocked to realise that there is also a few scenes of violence against women in there amongst all the carnage! One woman gets shot in the head and a few are mowed down in a stripclub. Also one of the female characters head almost explodes when she goes out into mars atmosphere. Its funny when it was happening to the bad guy and Arnie but when it happened to the woman I cried. Clearly misogynist to have a few shots of violence against women to tell a story. It should only be the men, because thats entertaining. Like when the midget stripper stabs that guy in the stomach hahahaha that was hilarious. But when a stripper got shot in the next frame, that was horrible. But anyway my point is I think Target and K-mart should remove all copies of Total Recall from their shelves. Just sell the remake only.
