I watched, as I normally do, all of the talk/news shows Sunday morning, most of which are on the left, as that is what is spewed out by the networks. Some moronic democratic congressmen stands up and gives a speech stating America does not need more oil. I almost jumped through the screen to kick his dumb ass. Dont these elected morons know that oil goes up and oil goes down in price and you plan for the future? The pipeline is probably a two year minimum construction project so do we wait for oil to double in price as it will? This panderer of political pap (PPP :-)) comes out with this bullshit and if he is this stupid, how stupid were those who voted him into his miserable office? Oil is NOT JUST ENERGY. It is a political bargaining chip in the world geo politic. Why was Russia able to gobble up parts of Ukraine while the turkeys in Europe did not emit one cackle? Because all of their oil and gas comes from the Russkie turkeys. What is financing the most evil branch of Islam, Wahabeism? Saudi Oil. Who is financing ISIS? The Qataris with their oil money. ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL. Why do we allow Russia and the wogs of the middle east to bully the world? They have the most chips on the table. Oil expansion in America is in our best POLITICAL interests as if any one is going to be on the bully pulpit, it should be America who as Teddy the Progressive once said, Walk softly but carry a big barrel of oil. We need a President who understands the world geopolitical order. My Gd, If I know this how did we wind up with a President who does not or will not?
