I watched on television today one of my 5 favorite all time movies: Ordinary People A great movie about breakdown in communications. The movie won the Oscar for best movie. The acting is outstanding. I hadnt realize what range Mary Tyler Moore had as an actress until Ordinary People. Robert Redford proved he was a better director than actor with this outstanding movie, which he deservedly won an academy award. Judd Hirsch brought his A game to this movie. A powerful movie. This is movie making at its best.
