I watched the Lantern Ceremony on tv last night. It was a powerful reminder of life and death and love..Beautifully done.. If you get a chance watch it.. I wrote this for it. The Souls Journey All the colors of heaven Are reflected in the sea As it reaches to the shores To meet the lanterns waiting With the prayers to send on forth. To the ones who are here no more. Candles lit with Love The spirits flame is seen Dancing on the waters On there way across eternity. and Lanterns dance and shine so Bright as they are sent out to the setting sun they are carried with love and the memories of the beloved ones. The angels that watch out for us And are there to help us on our way Guide the Prayers to heaven where we’ll meet in spirit one day. The colors of heaven‘s beauty The magic at the end of the day Let us see the presence of love And the beauty those feelings convey. Tears fall for those who’ve passed On to heavens gate Until we find a sweet reunion For in time we will meet again. For there is a sacred thread of life And it leads us to eternity In form we are here, and then gone But our spirit lives forever more. And the lanterns sail away Into the beauty of the suns setting rays And we feel our hearts love opening With know the sacred blessing that life brings.
