I watched this a few years ago, but I think about it pretty often. It was/is an amazing piece of work, both artistically and as a form of story telling. Note: This is a full length movie, but you should make the time for it. I think the description straight from YouTube will just fine to give an idea of what it is even about: Sita Sings the Blues is a musical, animated personal interpretation of the Indian epic the Ramayana. The aspect of the story that I focus on is the relationship between Sita and Rama, who are gods incarnated as human beings, and even they cant make their marriage work.
