I watched this video of Ramona, our 4 month old granddaughter with such a sense of wonder! Kicking, flaying around, before you know it shes going to discovering that all of her fun little squirms is moving her across the floor, then soon after that shell be surprised to find herself actually wobbling on all fours looking down at the floor, then comes the walking and she is off. When does that spirit and determination that seems so natural to babies leave us? When does it become replaced with a craving for comfort & ease and safety & security? Why do so many of us become so set in our ways and in our comfort zone that weve almost lost the sense of adventure? John Maxwell is known to say that people dont change until we know enough, hurt enough and hope enough. Jesus calls us to leave our nets, our security, our comfort and take a risk and follow Him so that He can make us more & more in His image and lead us in the adventure of connecting people to God, one life at a time. And we respond with....not now, I am .... you fill in the blank. Just thinking. Arent babies amazing?
