I welcome people to come forward with alternative venues for us to operate our program out of. Carrick is another council who have no one using a small indoor area on a Friday night in the leisure centre. £15 to hire normally. For me to do toddler soccer they are adding 100% surcharge + want 50% profits. Belfast city council. £100 per hour for small indoor hall + a further £2 per child that is to be paid to the council. These councils make the decisions based on our politicians. So can I ask why there is no equality for me to operate my classes encouraging kids to get active. Also can I ask why councils are so against kids getting active. Pen pushers that are so lazy to come down to see the positive effect our program is having watch our you tube channel. Near half a million views! Weve also taught our kids basic first aid & next month will be starting to teach them about money & finance. Im at my wits end as push through weeks working 100 hours to have people that think theyre above us & supposed to be educated to get on like muppets. Leisure centres are losing money. Yet Im prepared to pay a fair rate, increase footfall through the door at off peak times while encouraging children to live an active life & Im being forced out of areas. Its crazy!
