I went all goor mett tonight....... Marinated thinly sliced venison calf backstrap medallions with 5 bean and pickled cabbage salad. Recipe as follows... Marinade-olive oil, a dash of chilli sauce, a dash of tomato puree, sweet soy sauce, a pinch of curry powder, a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of garam masala, rock salt and a few grinds of black pepper left for 12 hours in the fridge covered. Cooking- Sizzling hot pan, seal-turn-seal-remove. Salad- tinned 5 beans drained. Pickled shredded cabbage (made by my Polish neighbour so not sure on method) chopped garden tomatoes, sliced garden cucumber, chopped garden lettuce with half a lemon squeezed over it. Inhale result of above.....
