I went and bathed my mom... it got me thinking how babyish she is now, her skin is so sensitive and soft like a newborn, I was scared to rub her skin off, her hair is so fine and thinning.... and I will never ever see her walking again... I remember how active she used to be... wed get up early, to check on snares, get wood, walking with just a sled... and barely make it home to get a drink of tea or tea porridge that shed made prior to leaving, shed tell us itd cool down while we were gone, after that wed run off to school... and if we got a rabbit or 2, wed tell her to cook it for lunch and she would.... I miss those days
