I went back to see my endo this last week and he did not do any cortisol testing but insisted on raising my dose. Since starting treatment I have acquired a Buffalo Hump on the upper back of my neck. My sister who is a nurse is now questioning my original diagnosis testing.. The original lab that first came back showed my cortisol at a level 0. The second lap I had done for the atch test show my first cortisol level at a 13. My confusion is that Ive been on this medicine for one year and it has not helped me. My plan is to get my life back. I am going this next week to get my cortisol levels checked since my endo did not do this. I would like to know where Im at if I have too much or not enough because of how I feel. I show all the signs and symptoms of Cushings however my endo is treating me for addisons disease. I will be posting my results this week..
