I went by and saw the house in Gross Gerau today. I’m glad I did. If the place in Seeheim Jugenheim does not pan out, I will definitely take this place. It is a second floor apartment but it is very sunny and bright. High 10ft ceilings with waist to ceiling windows surround three sides of the apartment. The fourth side is the entry from a wide marble stairwell. There are office spaces on the first floor but they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. The laundry facility is in the basement on a separate meter. There is a small bamboo garden in the back for sunning or for plants, when walking through the area I noticed the slight scent of gardenias. Entering the apartment there is a place for hanging coats, the walls are primarily white with accent colors of dark gray. Immediately to the right is a bedroom, currently used as a master bedroom – Two large windows are on the outside wall with blackout shades pulled low to block the sun. To the left of the entry way is a door that leads to another bedroom, which is currently being used as an office space. Again, two large windows are on the wall facing the door. To the left inside this room is a door that leads to a large walk in closet. The two loaner-wardrobes would fit perfectly in this space, and I would use the office area as my bedroom. Stepping past the entryway closet, to the left is a door that leads to a beautifully appointed bathroom. Huge walk-in shower and tall windows are the highlights of this space. Back into the hallway, and off to the right, across from the bathroom, is yet another bedroom. This one is the smallest of the three. It is a very nice room with bright windows. The last two rooms one to the left – a bright airy kitchen with three large waist to ceiling windows; and one to the right - a living room/dining room combination. This room is also accented with multiple waist-to-ceiling windows. The apartment has DSL and has off-street parking. It is 11 or 12 km from work and is a quick hop onto the autobahn. I like it
