I went downtown to help a friend get benefits today, and wow was I freaking amazed! I mean its truly amazing to sit there and see 90% of the people down there with their kids (who are wearing crappy cloths, and most likely starving) to get assistance for food stamps and money, yet they are sitting there in their pimped out clothing, shoes, jewelry, and such nice phones as well! But somehow they cant afford to feed, cloth, house, and or take care of their kids or get a job! And you know it really shows something about our economy too when all four floors were packed completely with people standing, but yet they say its getting better and we are pulling out of the bubble somehow! I dont know where they get their stats from, but reality tells a completely different story! Oh and to clear this up I have no issues with people who actually need assistance, but those that abuse the system (and you know who you are) deserve to be homeless and get no help at all! They totally ruin it for those people that need the help, and they could be actually working to take care of their responsibilities and to pay for that fancy gear they are wearing!
