I went early for friday prayers. I sat down and saw this small boy walking ard for kutipan masjid. Nostalgia struck me and i cry throughout. I wrote this because i wanna share my life experience when i was a kid and i still can smell the fresh pain on how hard life was back then. When i was a kid, Every friday i wud volunteer to do petugas utk kutipan masjid bt i will hide behind staircase during prayers kerana malu tktau solat. That $5note meant everything for me and on my way home i will buy sardine cans and proudly show my mother how i can contribute to have a meal for that day. I always wanted to help my mother in contributing something, bt due to my age i cant work. However to survive, you have to. What did I do? I had A1 in Arts and friends pay me to do their artwork; Im always passionate in hairstyling and i do haircut for friends to get money; I was in NPCC, friends pay me to polish their boots. Every year since Primary 6 I will get edusave awards of $50,$500 & $1000 for being top in class/level for academic performance, shake Principle or MPs hand meant everything for me, and i will proudly give it to my mother to show that i cn still contribute although im schooling. There are times where you really have ntg to eat. Bt i will always tell myself Allah will not let me die this way and there will be food ard to come somewhere. Mindset need to tell; you will survive and you wont die. Thats the reason why today i will still survive even if i have no money with me.- put to test What im trying to highlight here is; Islam itu indah. Hidup berpandukan agame itu lebih baik. Islam mengajar kita utk melihat lebih pada org yg berbawah dari yg beratasan agar kita senantiasa rasa bersyukur. Always keep in mind that if u feel life is hard for you; theres always someone facing much difficulties then u. Thats why a true muslim should be strong. Alhamdulillah syukur pada Allah for giving me all this hard experiences dan kesenangan yg dirasai pada hari ini. Nothing comes easy. Work for it & Earn it. I live with a principle; Usaha.Doa.Tawakkal.Yakiin.Insyallah. Ive tried.I know.
