I went for a Business Productivity Seminar recently and seriously, I was not just motivated, but I really learned a lot from other businesses to how they manage their processes, increase their productivity in their company and for me, I was really fired up by the sharing sessions as I realised I was the only one who is a sole-proprietor. However, they didnt look down on me. In fact, they gave tips generously. They told me, they all did the same like what I am going through... ALL, I mean ALL, did every single thing themselves, from cleaning, packing, delivering, name it.. All.. But, certain things, as they progress, they replace processes with automation such as machines or softwares. Other than that, they are still requiring human labour. That seems like a major problem for a majority of the companies. Hard to find staffs. Their advice for me was to share resources with other sole-proprietors who are in a similar field.
