I went in and turned in thinking the day was over but its just too - TopicsExpress

I went in and turned in thinking the day was over but its just too early for a creature of habit. Watched a little of Platoon then got tired of that, been there done that. Every now and then something happens to my cable TV reception and it just goes completely good, clear as a bell, Ive watched it so long poor quality you get a jolt when it happens. Heard thunder off in the distance about an hour ago but no rain so it must have bypassed me. I have no heat on now it is so warm Im not even wearing a shirt, you would never know it was the end of December already and so warm. I see there are a few bowl games on ESPN but not interested in that either. Guess Ill watch some tutorials or read for a while. I have been wanting to learn the 3d software Houdini, a completely procedural editor where you add functions and all the elements that make up a 3d model. Its completely different than the other editors and even tho there are a lot of different programs now related to 3d that are also procedural the main editor is something that takes some getting used to. There are material making programs that are all procedural and terrain making software that is procedural , everything is now going that direction. In 5 years even all the major 3d editors will be all automatic and procedural, you just flip some switches and your objects and models will be spit out automatically. Theyre already working on it now and have working models of the software in development. Like everything thing else in our society it opens new doors but closes old doors where there was once a need for trained schooled humans to do the same work. I wish I could take a peek at what awaits the world in say 100 years from now, it would probably look completely foreign to all of us, Im sure the Moon and Mars will have colonies its inevitable, one day there will be so many crooks and bad guys they will have to ship them off to another planet just like a few movies have portrayed. Life will be so much easier and you will live longer in a hundred years from now, disease and normal body function failures will slowly be stopped with untold new technology. I wouldnt want to relive my life only be able to see what I am going to miss, its going to be something.
