I went in to volunteer at the shelter yesterday and as I was looking to see what was in the cat room Gretchen and her 4 tiny kittens immediately tugged at my heart. She was super affectionate through the cage door and seeing those tiny helpless souls laying there and knowing their chances of surviving in an overcrowded kill shelter werent good, I brought them home. I will admit that I am more of a dog person, dont get me wrong I love cats and have 2 of my own, I just seem to relate better to dogs. But, I just couldnt leave them there. So here I am a little out of my element but willing to do whatever I can to help find them homes when they are ready. I am not sure of mamas age but I can tell she is very young and the kittens are believed to be about 2 weeks old according to the cat lady volunteer at the shelter. Their eyes are open and they are able to get around, even if it is just scooting for now. So in about 6 weeks or so these babies will be looking for homes and Gretchen will be too. LUV 4 Animals will be sponsoring her spay. If you are interested in any of these little ones or mama let me know. :) ~Nikole
