I went on a road trip down to Manchester at the weekend so that I could attend a newborn workshop with Shellie and Maddie from The Newborn Workshops, and it was incredible! Shellie and Maddie are two of the best UK newborn photographers, they are extremely enthusiastic, you can tell they really love newborn photography and are very keen to pass on their knowledge and experience. They have been such an inspiration to me on my photography journey. I also got to meet 11 other lovely photographers who had come to attend the workshop. I just loved spending time with like-minded people, hearing about their businesses, and working with some sweet babies. The day was full of newborn posing with lots of advice and help from Maddie and Shellie along the way about everything from prepping the babies for sessions to the massive difference that different angles can make in camera. Loved. Every. Second! Here is a sample of some of the shots I took which were posed by Shellie and Maddie.
