I went out to Skidaway to ride with my friends, AAndy and Lee. I love riding my single speed cyclocross bike out there, but today I was on my geared CX bike. Caught a little stick in my rear deraileur and snapped off the hanger. End of ride. I knew I should have been on the single speed bike. Andy and Lee brought my truck to me, and I stopped at QQuality Biketo get a new hanger and spend a little money. I also discovered that despite having carried a spare derailleur hanger for years (which was not in my bag today) my multi-tool doesnt have a 2.5mm Allen wrench needed to change it. Glad I found that out now, rather than alone on the side of the trail somewhere.
