I went over to my moms house to see her today. This woman amazes me and not because shes my mother. Shes 99 years old and if you looked at her you would think shes 75. What really amazes me is her mind. Its not only functional its downright sharp. When I talk to her on the phone its like talking to a 30 year old. Shes going to turn 100 in April and were going to have a party for her. Weve done it for the last 5 years but this year is obviously special. I personally dont see it as special because when I look at her I dont see a woman thats even close to dying. I can see her easily living another 15 years. Im the youngest of 5 kids and sometimes I think shes going to be the one who buries me, not the other way around. I have a hard time functioning in this 3D environment and quite honestly theres a lot of times I wish I wasnt here. Sorry to let that creep in but sometimes when youre writing things out you cant dismiss your own thoughts.
