I went through a phase where I used to spend hours looking for someone elses workout routine and diet plan, looking for what would be approriate foods. I always wondered why they were so hard to get hold of, any how I couldnt have their magic formula. If there is one thing ive learnt its that your training and diet are personal to you. They are built around your goals, timetable, budget, taste, ability to deal with it mentally, activity levels, past activity (the foundations youve built) and most importantly your genetic response. Yes - start off by following the outline of someone elses plan, by things you have heard from experienced people who have gone through the same process. But dont strive to be them. Monitor your progress, switch things up and analyse how you respond. Most people who are successful change parts of their diet and training on a weekly basis based on the feedback their body displays. There are no fixed plans for your body cycle. Its all about how the body adapts to the inputs you provide. All these little changes add up to make a big difference. Although im all for people spending years experimenting for themselves (I did) If youre new to the game and looking for impressive results then get a prep coach or a person you trust could give you valuable input or could make you a diet plan. Work with the person to learn you body. Once you understand how your body works, learn a few basic principles and understand the dynamic nature of physique building youll be set for life. Sometimes you need may just need the push and guidance to follow and it could do wonders and change your life. Believe in yourself and remember it is never too late :) #aesthetics #SAfitness
