I went to A&E this morning, and It looks like im going to be on crutches for a few days. I did meniscus damage in my knee.. so basically if it gets worse, ill have to see my GP, then my GP will take me for a scan, then refer me to a knee clinic. The worst outcome would be that ill have to under go Keyhole surgery. But thats way down the line if it doesnt improve. Though the nurse did say, because its your meniscus it may not rejuvenate itself the same way.. like how skin and bone sew back into each other. Im hoping it dont mean im ruled out of athletics for good or I wont be running the same way again. But he said because im young and fit, it shouldnt be a problem. The last time I was on crutches I was 12 years old.. lol
