I went to Chipotle tonight to pick up dinner. I was standing in line for a few minutes before I looked up and noticed the group of high school kids in front of me glancing back every minute or 2. This continued the entire time we were in line. It happened enough for me to start wondering if I knew them or if I had food on my face. Turns out it wasnt either. When I finally reached the glass to start ordering, I rubbed my jawline and learned Zoe and/or Mackenzie had bedazzled my face/beard with pink crystals (stickers). Both of my girls grab my face all the time, but this is the first time they decided to accessorize my facial hair. They are like Ninjas. I didnt suspect a thing. I have no idea what I looked like in my thermal shirt, Carhartt Jacket, jeans, work shoes, and five oclock shadow with crystals along my jawline, but I bet I was sending mixed messages. I busted out laughing as soon as I felt the crystals on my face. I would have been so embarrassed by this when I was a kid, but now these moments just make me smile. That said, I should probably start looking in the mirror before I leave the house after hanging with my girls. I have to add bedazzled to the list of words I never used before having girls.
