I went to Christ The King from the 4th to the 8th grade. Graduated in 1955 and went to Aquinas in 1956. I decided to go to EASTMOOR to play football. I ran left halfback both offense and defense. EASTMOOR won the City league Championship in 1959. Pic of my father playing the ukulele was taken in 1956 We lived on Astor near James. My father died of TB in 1957 when I was 14 just starting at EASTMOOR. Some of you may remember the $2000 drawing that Christ The King Church had. My dad had the winning ticket for the Feb 16 1954 drawing. Your looking at the winning ticket. That was a lot of money back then. PS. Sister Ancilla slapped me after recess while we were all lined up to go into class. I ran home and had to take my mother in to see Sister Ancilla before she would allow me back in school
