I went to Cumberland on my lunch break. It was a very eventful trip! I parked my car got out and started walking and a car that was parked 2 cars up from me decided to zoom back out of his parking space turning his wheel and came within inches of hitting me. No, he did not even nod an Im sorry or an Oops. Shaken up I continued to the store and when I was in the crosswalk in front of the store, a car came right at me AGAIN! She did not stop or slow down! If this old girl did not react quickly in both situations within minutes of each other , I would be splattered on Queen City Drive. No, Oops or acknowledgment of my presence received again! A very nice man standing outside the store came over to me to see if I was ok and his plastic bag from the store broke and dropped cans on my foot. Yes, I got an I am sorry for that one. After all this, I went in and grabbed bacon for my daughter and rushed back to my car. When does the Christmas spirit actually hit people?! I am not leaving my house again till Christmas morning and all the crazies are done shopping!
