I went to Sullivan High School today for the meet and greet and the school tour. Lots of it is the same and a little bit different. I really remember everything looking much bigger than it really is. I had to stop by my grandparents and moms old house on Pratt avenue. It had a major remodel since they sold it in 1972. Then a heard that a parent of someone in my graduating class has lived there since 1989. The front door used to be on the side of the house. The auditorium looked really small and the seats were a lot tighter than I remember and the lunch room had the same tables and the food area had the same stainless steel serving areas. Then off to the boys gym and the pool. Lots of long hallways with classrooms in need of some repair. Them I found the Sullivan "Wall of Fame" with a picture that most people should recognize. The sad thing is that there is now a boys and girls entrance with metal detectors and scanning equipment for backpacks and bags. Some things have not changed and some things really have. But I had a really good time!
