I went to Tropicana on Adams today for lunch. I usually don’t go there but my friends wanted to go. I had the cheeseburger. Wrong choice. The burger was dry and was no more than 3 inches in diameter and no more than a quarter inch thick. It was served on toasted brown bread because they ran out of buns. If I were in the restaurant business I would have been ashamed to serve it. I have noticed that very few restaurants take any pride in what they serve. I have been a cook in restaurants and I always took pride in what I put out. If I wouldn’t eat it, I wouldn’t serve it. If you complain, that usually doesn’t go well. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
