I went to Walmart in Gilroy to get a fishing license Tuesday. Their terminal, where the license is generated, was offline, so no license. I then went to Nob Hill in Gilroy but their terminal was down too. I did a little research and found one can now get it online, but it was interesting that both places I usually go to in Gilroy were down. Tonight I ran an errand at Nob Hill for some dinner items and I see a guy with a California Fish and Game shirt on working on the terminal. I ask if hes been to Walmart yet cause their terminal is offline too. He says hes going there next. He then tells me, the service is down in five states. Apparently a vendor remotely pushed a software update that bricked all the terminals. There are 1500 in California alone that are down. Only ten guys to visit each and everyone to bring them back online. :-P
