I went to a campsite we stayed at with my brother Tom & Karen two years ago but they have gone up market and the price was twice what I usually pay. So I took the bike in to the Pyrenees 20km to a municipal. Little did I know that it was exposed to Mediterranean sea winds that were so strong that most of the tents had blown flat and families were fleeing to hotels to escape. It was truly insane. The gust hit me so hard a few time it was like being pushed over instantly and made riding extremely dangerous. I had no other option than to build a dry stone wall shelter to survive. It turned out to be a great adventure and I banged out the mini rig late in to the night drinking red wine and eating Bolognese as I looked out to sea from behind my sea wind defence.
