I went to bible study last night at Word of Grace church and we discussed Ephesians 5. Although very culturally diverse, the group was filled with mainly men (who all firmly agreed that wives should submit to their husbands). I have no problem with submission, but I thought the study would be kind of one-sided with only 2 women present.Turned out to be excellent discussion around love and respect in marriage and the relationship with Jesus and the church (of course with my 2 cents) lol! I look forward to going again next week :-)
