I went to pick up my lunch at Joe Pattis Seafood, this lady stopped me, asking if this was my cochlear implant-- hearing aids she saw on my head.. I said, it sure is. Listening to her telling me her grandchild (18 months old) is having her cochlear implant surgery this week. I told her, Its a beautiful thing, a wonderful gift from God, hearing joyful noises everyday.. God is good. She looked at me with tears flowing down her face and hugged me. (of course I cried!) That made my day with a smile! God is good! I am blessed!
