I went to see Gods Not Dead. I would love to tell you what a wonderful movie it was. However, I had a very unexpected reaction that I am not even sure I have a full understanding of. I left half way through the movie (which I never do!). The movie left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable. I am comfortable in all aspects of my faith ( I have a few if you know me) and I am comfortable in the various avenues of faith of my friends and family. If this movie is seen in an effort to affirm your ideologies, Save your money. This movie makes no greater stance on Christianity or Atheism or any of the other religions mentioned then the progress of a duck that never takes flight. If you want to do good, Be good. Its that simple. Stop over complicating it. Proclaim the essence of greater good through the product of your actions. Save the labels. Anything less then a concerted effort to input goodness into daily processes is merely fluff over flaws. Love over Labels.
