I went to see my primary care physician today and Lee took off part of the day to go with me and lend his support. My doctor is trying to get me approved for a lift for a recliner and a scooter to make my life easier and enable me to do more things. All of these foot surgeries, arthritis, weakness and age are taking a toll at 63 and I had to swallow my pride on this one. The insurance company sent my doctor 60 pages of paperwork...ridiculous...which to me seemed geared to discourage us. But, Im pressing on! Hopefully, we jumped through the hoops correctly on this one and Ill get these taken care of shortly...then, Im buying a recliner! Go, me!
