I went to the 2nd branding meeting on Tues , and had to wait till today to calmly respond..This company wanted to tear down the the Rail Road pavillion and all the trees in the center of the up town park for a splash pad/ice rink for every body like in Rapid City South Dakota... He stated that the 4 mil people that visit the black hills/Mt Rushmore now visit this also.??? I said , calmly that if that was the plan that there would be a fight over the destruction of that pavillion.. And that I failed to understand how we would get mass amounts of visitors as we had no Mt Rushmore or black hills , but we do have lots of corn and hogs.. We are known as the drive through state...He didnt have a good explanation to my statement.
