I went to the Thai temple the other day. One of the monks recognized me and gave me a special message about meditation and daily life. I really needed that. Turns out that my Mom also has a special relationship with this monk - she talks with him on the internet nearly daily! He told me that he helps edit the concepts in her mystical poetry that she writes and that they plan to work together in the future. Mom is going to help him translate his teachings. I am planning on trying out some Buddhist services at the temple. It is all in Thai. I have pretty good comprehension - hope I can keep up!
