I went to the hospital today and went to Earl Danyluk, hes getting better slowly. Jabaw! I feel for him lying in bed. He told what hed been thru and the treatment hes been getting. As he was talking away, I thought of my late mom. She was in the same hospital and they couldnt find out what was wrong with her. Shes in a better place now and not suffering anymore. I snapped out of my daydream and listened to Earl intently as he shared his health situation with me. I could tell he enjoyed my company even tho it was short. He asked me if I was still the Deputy Chief and I told him yes. He told me that the chief from Wemindji dropped in too yesterday. He must be felt special to get a visit from his Chief. Jabaw! Im glad hes getting better, his family will be there for Christmas. Anyway, Im heading home tmrw. Im all shopped out. Good night and stay safe!❤️
